What is the tiger roaring this year?

As we entered into the year 2022, I was pondering about my life and what I want to achieve in the year 2022. 

I am glad that I have TWO teams who showed love & care, support & feedback. 

ONE: The Gem Museum TEAM

Without them, I would never be where I am or who I am. They showed me grace and patience, tenacity and persistence. I am able to do and manage so many things at one time because of them. They are literally my hands and legs, and often my brain too. (Well, the Bible says that a team is like a body. One part cannot do without the other. And one part cannot say it is greater than another.) 

I thought about what I am thankful for in 2021 and I am truly thankful for this group of people.

 

In December 2021, we participated in the Singapore Jewellery and Gems Fair 2021. It was a resounding success and I attributed it to 👆👆 these people's hardwork and sacrifice!

Right after the intense jewellery fair, we started to prepare for our move to this new location. We did not have much of a break during the festive season. Yet they are still so full of life!

Teamwork is essential in our individual's success.

We could not accomplish so much in such a short time without great teamwork. This team is still working hard to pack up our exhibits and distribute AngBaos at the same time (yes, it's CNY and Museum Roundtable runs this Ang Pao Campaign yearly. Check it out here!). 

So that the rest of us including my wonderful admin (who is not in the picture above), can focus on the renovation of our new location. Check out the new location here!

TWO: DAP Team Dynami

I would say, one of the best decisions I've ever made was to get my licence to become a Financial Services Consultant. In the last 6 months, I have learnt so much. Not only did I manage to "restore" my family's wealth, I am qualified and equipped to help others in their financial wealth management.

I am equipped not because I have some special tools like financial calculators or some great financial tech tools. But I am equipped because I know that I can always reach out to my team members for advise, assistance, assurance and feedback. They have helped me with all the questions I have and all the things that I didn't understand. 

For the 1st Quarter 2022 Kickoff of Summit Planners Cluster, our team did an "act" spontaneously. It was really fast as we coordinated really well with one another. Missing in the picture is a 22 year old young man who is very knowledgeable and passionate about investments and he aims to achieve financial freedom and independence at a young age!

This was done by the other young man in the team. This goes to show how spontaneous and fun we can be. Not to forget - CREATIVITY.

The last 6 months was really a time of self-discovery. When 2022 came near, I really reviewed my life with regards to what I had been doing and what I would like to do in the coming year. After learning and acting on my knowledge on PROTECTION, ACCUMULATION and GROWTH, I gave both my thoughts and my intuition to good work.

If CAUSES is one of my greatest motivation, then I want to be able to help businesses achieve financial freedom, growth, accumulation and succession. Especially for family businesses. Many SMEs started because someone has a dream to give the family a better life. And many SMEs were succeeded by the next generation because someone in the next generation believed that the father's business is worth taking over. To maintain and preserve family ties and relationships is one of my core values. 

And I believe that insurance and investment is one of the best ways to help businesses achieve their financial goals in this year. 

 The tiger is ready to roar! 🐯

1. Commitment to build and establish The Gem Capital group of businesses and brands.

    

We will be creating more unique products that engages all of our five senses: touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. Not only that, we are going to launch more educational programs that will stimulate your intellect. So don't forget to keep a lookout for our promotions via our social media platform!

2. Provide reliable recommendations of investment portfolios through study and research.

One of the reasons why I am going to focus on investments this year is because of the reality of inflation. At the same time, too many people has put too much of their money into properties as investments. Lastly, alternative investments such as for gems and art, is picking up and I want to provide a balanced view to consumers about the different forms of investment. 

Final words...

In conclusion, the 2022 tiger is going to roar loud and clear, not so that it can intimidate its prey, but it roars because it wants to protect and lead. 

My vision for 2022 is to be leading, guiding and assisting the growth process of a business and also in an individual. Just as much as I had benefitted from all my mentors who have helped me in the past year, I would want to be as giving as them and share what I have with others.
